CPR REPORTER MEGAN VERLEE, BRINGING NEWS TO LIFE WITH SOUND
|
“I'm crazy about sound; it engages your imagination in ways I don't think either print or video can,” said Megan Verlee, CPR's general assignment reporter. Hear her award-winning story on chickens raised in urban areas.
Megan joined CPR in the spring of 2008 in time to report on the Democratic National Convention and Colorado's role in the last presidential election. As general assignment reporter, she continues reporting on state government and other timely issues. Just a few weeks ago, Megan joined Neal Conan on “Talk of the Nation” as part of a discussion about efforts to legalize marijuana in California, Colorado and other states.
